The original WFH: Waiting, Fearing, Hoping

The original WFH: Waiting, Fearing, Hoping

This year’s Quiet Day for Advent is ‘The original WFH: Waiting, Fearing, Hoping’ and will be led by Father Jeff Risbridger.

Tuesday 29th November 2022 10am – 4pm at Epiphany House.

The new way of living for many is Working From Home (WFH) but the earliest Christians also knew about WFH – Waiting, Fearing and Hoping – as they anticipated the End-times and the return of Christ to usher in the Kingdom of God.  In the tradition of the Church, the weeks of Advent help us not only anticipate the coming of Christ as a babe in Bethlehem, but the return of Christ as Judge and Ruler of a  Universe restored to a right relationship with the Creator.

This Quiet Day will help us consider these ancient Advent themes of Waiting, Fearing and Hoping in the context of our lives today.

Cost £25.00 to include all hot drinks and a light lunch.
