Tea In The Gardens at Epiphany House

Tea In The Gardens at Epiphany House

Starting from Tuesday the 9th August and continuing throughout the rest of the Tuesdays and Thursdays of the summer, we will be opening our gardens as a tea room between 2-4pm. Come and spend the afternoon in our grounds catching up with those you know or meeting others you don’t over cream teas or coffee and cake. All our food is homemade and prepared at the house.

While there is no need to book, if your group numbers more than six people let us know in advance, in order to make sure we can accommodate you. This can be done either by emailing [email protected] or phoning 01872857953.

The last Tea In The Gardens will be on Thursday the 15th September. However, if the weather is kind we hope to be able to extend Tea In The Gardens throughout September but this will be confirmed closer to the time.

Times and seasons

Times and seasons

Times and Seasons is a Quiet Day led by Revd Andrew Hill.

Friday 21st October 2022 10am – 4pm at Epiphany House.

A Quiet Day for finding rest, rhythm and refreshment for busy lives and busy churches.

With so many demands on our time, so many opportunities, so many distractions what can we learn from the rhythms of nature? How can we resist being swept along in a busy world? How can we make time to rest?

The day will focus on Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verses 1-11 through sessions which will explore themes such as times and seasons in the natural world, times and seasons in the Liturgical Year and times and seasons in our personal lives.

Cost £25.00 to include all hot drinks and a light lunch.

For all information and to book a place please contact [email protected] or call us on tel. 01872 857953.

Praying the Hymn Book

Praying the Hymn Book

Praying The Hymn Book is a Quiet Day led by David Rake.

Friday 16th September 2022 10am – 4pm at Epiphany House

Hymns are not only an important part of our Christian worship but most of us have particular hymns which remind us of people, places or special times in our lives. The words of many hymns can do something more. We can use them as prayers or as passages for our thoughts and meditations.

On this Quiet Day we shall look together afresh at familiar words, but there will also be time and space for each of us to make some new discoveries within the covers of the hymn book and to use them in prayer.

Cost £25.00 to include all hot drinks and a light lunch.
