The Eucharist

Celebrated every Saturday morning at 10am and every Tuesday at 12noon. On the first Tuesday of the month there is a Healing Eucharist.

 

Morning Prayer

Said in the Chapel at 10am on Monday to Friday.

   

Silent Prayer

Offered for Epiphany House on the first Tuesday of every month from 5.15pm to 5.45pm.

  

Meditation Groups

Meet on the first Monday of the month from 2.30pm to 4pm and the third Monday of the month from 7.15pm to 9pm.

   

Circle Dancing

on the first Tuesday of the month 7.30pm - 9.30pm

 

Please note on the following dates the Circle Dancing Group will not meet: Tues 3rd January.



Other Regular House Events

A series of refreshment and renewal days in the House and grounds.

 

Use the quiet space for reflection or relaxing with friends. All drinks and a delicious lunch are provided. A variety of therapies, art room, confidential listening service and spiritual direction also available.

Art and Prayer
The gardens of Epiphany House will be open to artists who would like to spend some time reflecting and praying through painting what they see and respond to in the beautiful grounds.
 
Tuesdays in May, June and July, from 9.30am to 4.00pm
 
Soul Spark
a short course exploring Prayer and Spirituality. This course runs over six weeks and will run in the autumn.
 
Spiritual Accompaniment Network Days: 
Open to those interested in exploring spirituality.

Feast of the Epiphany
Eucharist, followed by a light supper. The Rt Revd Tim Thornton will celebrate.

Fair Trade sales, refreshments and fashion show.
Wednesday 7th March from 2pm to 5pm.

Epiphany House Spring Open Day
Refreshments, art exhibition, cakes, crafts, guided tours, children's activities. Come and enjoy the House and garden!

Epiphany House Members AGM
Starting with a Eucharist followed by a light supper. Meeting begins at 7:30pm.
Tuesday 22nd May from 6pm to 9pm.

Feast of the Transfiguration
Eucharist followed by tea, coffee and cake in the Library.
Monday 6th August from 10am to 12noon.

Epiphany House Christmas Open Day
Refreshments, cakes, art and craft fayre, Fair Trade gifts and food, children's activities.
Saturday 1st December from 10:30 to 5pm.


Holiday Weeks

Spring Holiday Week
A chance to enjoy Cornwall at a beautiful time of year. Guests are invited to arrange their own time with the House as a base. Led reflections on a Lenten theme will be offered in the evenings.

Pilgrimage Holiday Week
Using the House as a base, guests are invited to arrange their own trips to follow in the footsteps of the Cornish Saints. Maps, suggested routes etc will be offered as well as evening reflections on the theme of Pilgrimage and Journey.

Quiet Day: No Longer My Own
An introduction to the Methodist Covenant Service, with individual reflection upon the Covenant Prayer and ending with the service.

A day of reflection and rest for busy mothers.

Cornwall Singing Break
A residential weekend open to anyone who enjoys choral singing. Rehearse and sing services in the Epiphany House Chapel, Kenwyn Church and Truro Cathedral.

This weekend retreat will offer an opportunity to engage with the reality of the time that we find ourselves in. We will explore this experience in light of our understanding of and relationship to God and our participation as co-creators in the unfolding creation event.

Workshops

Workshop: How shopping might be good for the soul
Exploring how our faith might shape the choices we make in using the power we have as consumers. (Part of the Fair Trade Event.) Followed by lunch.

Praying with Icons Workshop
Participants will be guided through the 'writing' of their own icon as a means of deepening prayer. Overnight accommodation is available. Attendance at both sessions is preferable.

The Enneagram and Spirituality
This workshop explores how the insights of the Enneagram can deepen our understanding of personal prayer, worship, spiritual direction and the development of the spiritual life. Participants should have attended a basic Enneagram workshop and know their Enneagram type. Overnight accommodation is available. Attendance at both sessions is preferable.
