Introduction to the Enneagram
Friday 25th October , 7:00 pm - Saturday 26th October , 5:00 pm
A course for those new to the Enneagram, led by The Revd Dr. David Rake.
Friday 25th October 2019, 7.30pm – 9.30pm and Saturday 26th October 2019, 10.00am – 5.00pm
The Enneagram provides a way of understanding human personality and is used in many contexts including spiritual direction. It is a tool to help us on the spiritual journey, helping people grow in prayer and worship, discover their pathway to God and to find inner healing. It helps us understand why we are all different and have characteristic and appropriate ways of doing things. It gives insights which can help us to accept human diversity and celebrate the gifts that each personality type brings to enrich human life.
The course runs on Friday 25th October from 7.30 to about 9.30pm (coffee and tea will be served from 7pm) and on Saturday 26th October from 10am to about 5pm. Attendance at both Friday and Saturday sessions is necessary.
The course is led by The Revd Dr. David Rake, an Anglican priest living in the west of the county. He is an experienced spiritual director and retreat leader and has run Enneagram courses over many years. He was Spirituality Adviser in the Diocese of Truro 1998 – 2008.
